Ok so my autometer pyrometer gauge started acting up and was wondering what to check first. It don't seem to work at all i mean the needle doesn't move at all until i get up to speed and am not giving it any throttle the needle will go up to say 7 r 800 degrees but as soon as i give it any fuel it goes to 0. Any ideas would b appreciated, do i need to look at the probe r clean it maybe? The wires look like there all connected still so maybe just buy the new wiring harness with a probe? thanks for the help..

sounds like thermocouple to me, find a friend near you and swap the thermocouples and see what changes.
Well fixed it checked out the ground and all the wire connections then finally just changed the thermocouple now it works good again. Luckily i had a spare gauge around now i just have the gauge without the swnding unit so if ne body just needs the gauge let me know.. Black face white letters chrome bezel could send u a pic frommy phone if u want...
