Ok guys i sold the gauges in my truck. I want to get like the digital ones. I want to run a Hrvp-44 with a smarty and maybe like a Quadzilla with the gauges or ? also what would be a good stack?

i have heard from people that know and they say that the hrvp is a fad that has about ran its cousre. that being said if you are going to tap the pump wire then save your money and buy a SO pump. the internals can only put out so much power and the internals of a hrvp and a SO are the saome. if your just going to use the smarty only then their will be a difference btween the two pumps. i hope that make since, i bet someone else will chime in.

as for the gauges just get an adrinaline its suppost to be great for our vp trucks

You pretty much summed it up. The HRVP is great if you aren't planning on huge HP or tapping the pump wire.....it'll give you that little extra HP you are missing out on not tapping the wire. The downside is they have their HP limits once you start trying to stack boxes and add larger injectors. The SO pump is where it's at for making the power when it comes to the VP44 powered trucks. To me the HRVP isn't worth the extra coin to be limited down the road.

The adrenaline is supposed to be one mean SOB...I doubt you would need to stack anything with that bad boy.

I love my Adrenaline so far and without getting the Pulse monitor you already get Boost, Fuel pressure, EGT and another that can be either oil temp or tranny temp depending on where you put the probe.(sounds dirty, huh?) LOL If you get the Pulse, I'm not sure what the changes are, but I know the screens bigger... Also, as far as Boost goes, I'd rather have an analog gauge, the numbers just flucuate too much for me on a digital. I can deal with digital on Fuel pressure and temp guages, they change slow enough they aren't hard to read.
