gear selection ?

ok so been thinkin about swaping gears in my wifes truck (which isnt running yet) but anyways current my set up will be 92ve motor,94 rh trans,241dld tcase and 4.10 gears with 36x15.50 on 20s
Do u think if i change to 3.73 it will kill my milage or help?

My 12 valve seems to run best at 2000 rpm. There are charts floating around that you can plug in your tire size, axle ratio and overdrive ratio to determine rpms at the highway speed you want to run at. I am thinking with your overdrive tranny and 36" tires, you may want to consider staying with your 4.10 gears or going to 4.56 gears.
