Spicer are nice, but pricy. I believe that a former superstreet puller was running Yukon gears, had an issue with a few sets, which Randy's warrantied and said it was a manufacturing defect. Once they got through those they ran a set for the rest of the season at 1000+ HP.

two sets of junk Yukons in about 10 hooks, I am done with them. Spicer all the way workin on tryin to get my stock gears back in it. Oh and Yukon will not warranty mine sayying I "Shock loaded them" no warranty.

I find a:
DAN706033-4X This is a 4.56 for my 60
DAN707060-1X This is a 4.63 for the 80
I know I have seen these offset numbers befor but is this right and why are they offset??????
Thanks again for the replies so far!

Probably because Ford requested the 4.63 gear for something that is two wheel drive. Not enough demand for the D80 gears to merit someone making the 4.56 D80's.

So can I run these two???? Or not? If not how can I run an OEM Gear out back if they dont make it?

There are not 4.56 for the D80. Noone makes them. Do the aftermarket brands make a 4.63 gear? IF they do this really leads me to wander how much different the gears really are. IE, several of the gears made at the same place and rebranded. Randys does have the $29.95 no questions asked lifetime warranty on their gears. The helical gears aren't the easiest things to cut, and then the gear shavers that are needed. IE it is a significant investment to get these gears made. I have heard that the Spicers are the quietest, the yukons tend to be noisy.

Just got done talking with a few companies and 4.56 was not made for Dana 80's. 4.63 was and that was for chevy specific applications so I will be running DANA/Spicer Ring and Pinions 4.56 Front & 4.63 Rear.
Thanks again for the replies!

Fords ran them also!

If you really are concerned about the difference. Nitto makes a 295/75R16 and then I believe a 305/75R16 or something like that. Not for sure ont he aspect ratios that are available, but I do recall that they have a 295.

Personally...I wouldn't worry about the gear difference...in 3rd gear @ 3K RPM, there is 1 mph difference. In the dirt on the pulling track, forget about it.

I would keep it out of 4wd on pavement though:D
