Im wanting to upgrade from my 3:54s to a ratio that will work better with my 35's.....any suggestions on what i should go with? And maybe some idea on what it will cost?? thanx!

try finding someone with 4:10 running gear that wants to swap with you, that awta do it!!

I went to 4.10's based on the calculator putting the final drive ratio with 35's from 3.54's to a 3.74 final drive. Runs 70mph at 1,900 rpm which is perfect for me cause I use it to tow alot. As for cost I have only so far done the rear and gears and master install kit was $260 and I had help installing from more qualified guys.

Ditto on swapping axles with someone, seems there is always someone wanting to loose the 4:10 axles for 3:54's. The time spent swapping over would be about the same as regearing what you have, but if you have no clue how to set up gears it can be worthwhile.

I swapped my 4.10 for a friends 3.55 we were both happy and saved some $$$
