well i am finally get a turbo and i am goin with industrial injections ps 62 but i dont know with exhaust houseing to use. the pickup is a dd and on the weekends it pulls the sammy on the trailer, a whopping 3500lbs with the trailer. as for my friving style i am pretty easy on it and dont plan on hitting the track or sled pullin anytime soon, and if i do it aint going to be more than once a year. i am thinking the 12mm housing would be best and spool quickly but haow much slower would the 14mm housing spool. and the juice is always set on 3x5 or 5x5. i need oppions on this, thanks in advance!
 
The 12 will spool faster than the 14, but the 14 will handle the EGT's a bit better towing. Stock injectors?
 
From what I've heard I would stick with a 12 since you have an auto, I went with a 14 only because I have a stick. It spools fairly quick, not to much worse than stock but then again I can drive it that way with my 6spd. Ask BgBlue, he has an auto with big sticks and he's running a 12 I believe.
 
mods: DDIII's(100hp) edge juice, and the other supporting mods. i guess mymain questions is how much slower will the 14 spool than the 12? will the 14 be laggy around town?
 
Naw 14 isn't too laggy. Thats the way to go IMO. 12 will fall short
 
Get the 14. I had a 62/65/12 phat shaft and it would spool instantly but if I turned the TST on 2 with the 200+hp injectors and smarty I would hit 1500*. Smarty and injectors only I was only hitting 1350*. I definitely wouldn't wanna tow with that setup. Get the 14. My 62/71/13ss spools a hair slower but it's also a bigger exhaust wheel and housing. I'd think a 62/65/14 would spool a tick faster than this one and should be perfect for what you want.
 
sweet that was what i was wanting to hear. i was leaning more torward the 14 the more i think about it. plus i am putting on the exhaust when i get the turbo so it should sound pretty good.

Yea do the 14 on the 62 for sure, Where can we get some shirts made like your avatar??? That would be bad azz!! or am lost and they already have them?? :what:
 
i have bee wondering when some shirts might get made but i tiink it might be awhile till they can get around to it, they stay pretty busy policing this place
 
This place doesn't need any policing. I believe in self regulation. Which explains my bar tab. LOL
 
Studs only. With the TST I see 48psi of boost with about 50psi of drive pressure.
 
this has nothing to do with this thread but thier is no reason to start a thread just for this. i was changing the brightness of the juice modue and hit the enter button twic real fast and it poped up the % backdown screen? anyone else have this or is it ust a function that i have never seen before?
