Girdle block into 2nd gen frame

I am installing a 12v engine with Kenny's Pulling Parts girdle into a 2nd gen truck. The Oil pan is touching the crossmember. I am using stock engine mounts with poly inserts and stock frame mounts. What's the fix? Thanks.
 
On my pulling truck, I cut the cross member completely out. Or you could take a plasma cutter and cut off the top half of it.
 
I have cut the top out then plate it back shut, but if i did it again i would most likely just cut it out.
 
I ended up cutting the top out and welding 1/8" plate back in. Plenty of clearance now. I was going to cut crossmember completely out, but didn't want brake line hanging out in mid air.
