How do you guys pull with the Allison?? I'm sure you guys use Low Range ..but what gear?? How do you leave?? Do you build boost at the start or let it roll out then hammer on it?? Thanks in advance.

id say most put it in 3rd , and build some boost and stomp it an d go, and if big power they will go to 4th

Depends on the track and the charger, stock charger walk it out let the converter lock in second gear and stand on it! Let it shift to third on it's own. If the track has alot of grip, you can build boost off the line.

While we are on the topic, was at a pull a few weeks back and all the d-max's that went down the track the front wheels were pigeon toe'd like this: \ /
Whats the cure for that?

yup, 4low/3rd gear.... I only have 5 pulls in the bag... The last three, I did mash on the brake until I had about 8-10 pounds of boost before I let her rip...

Tie rod sleeves and pitman/idler are braces... Some even replace the centerlink with a stronger one...

I don't have that problem...

be as close to weight allowed for most cases and have hitch height as close to max allowed as possible. Which pull(s) you thinking about? I make it to a LOT of them in Ky and while I haven't pulled much myself, I have helped several people prep their trucks and know the basics. ;)

I'm not real sure which pull yet.. I'm thinking about the little pull in Springfield Tn. next weekend? Just kind of a trial pull to see what happens??
