ok so heres what i found.

1998 quad cab 4x4 dually ctd 24v. no gooseneck, no dents/dings/fading.
86k miles. automatic. no cracks in dash, non smoker, to sum it up, it is IMMACULATE! even has factory exhaust.

price: 15,000 obo.

owner is a 74yr old woman, it was her husbands and he died in early 06. truck hasnt been registered since march 06.

purpose of truck: just a get around truck. all i will do, no joke, ONLY thing i will do is straight pipe it.

what do yall think?
 
I take it it's an auto...it'll be alright for a get around truck...put a hitch in just in case you ever need to. and get a tonneau cover so people don't ask you to move.
 
the price is right...but ya gotta watch out for the lift pump, and vp-44.....thats my bigest complaint with the 2gen 24v.


id also get as set of gauges(at least traney temp and fuel pressure)
 
yea 15k is pretty good for that. that's really low mileage considering how old it is.
 
Fair price, not a smokin deal, but definitely not a "Bed over and bare it" price either.

Sounds like what you need, just plan on upgrading the fuel supply system and adding a FP guage, all under $300.
