put some 200 hp injectors in my truck....this thing smokes so bad now, what do i need to do to clean it up? truck has a hx 40 and i didnt think the 200's would make it this smoky. either big a bigger charger or find some smaller injectors? truck had 100's in it before and cleaned up fine. i do not want to smoke at all..i daily drive my truck.
 
Yea, need to find out what hole and size they are. I have some mystery 200's in my truck. They smoke a good bit, but they are controllable. Those are way more than you need for that hx40 though, no matter what hole they are.
 
6x.016 built by anthony at air dog, they haze at idle, i can drive the truck without it smoking, even cruising down the interstate ay 70 mph there is a constant haze of black

No but really, 6 holes always ran great in my old truck, but smoked way worse than 7 holes.

Plus a 6x.016 is a big injector, way over 200hp
 
well what hp rating are they estimated? i was told 200's....truck has tons of power...but like i said the smoke is UN-controllable and i cant keep driving it like this. i found some 150's to put in my truck to try to calm the smoke down. but i wont be home till friday night to swap them out :doh:
 
Yeah I ran a set with a 66 and they were too much for it. Much less an hx40.
