Ok so I just installed a 4k kit with 60lb springs. It idles at 1100rpm in park. Shift into drive and it goes down to about 800rpm. I have to give it a lil throttle to get it started like an old chevy 350. I played with the throttle linkage an the best I could do was 1100 with out heaving it stall going into gear. What did I do wrong did I go to many clicks ahead on the 4k kit..HELP

Just adjust your idle, the 10mm down at the bottom of the pump toward the firewall.

After you bring the idle down to a normal level add one more click on each set, that should level the RPM drop out, as well as the starting!

Loosen off the gov a click, then readjust your idle up.

Mine did the same thing. I added a click to each and that fixed it, then adjusted my idle to 750-800 in park. Its like a charm now.
