Searched and couldn't find anything that sounded like what I am having.

I have cleaned all of my connections from start to finish of the wiring.

My wait to start light comes on as usual but then goes right off at the same time as the rest of the lights. If someone turns the key and I am checking voltage on the small wire on the relays, I get a small spike of 8 volts then its gone. Is there some sort of relay somewhere I am missing not letting the grid heater run? Tired of these rough morning starts.

Why don't you plug your truck in at night?? Mine starts perfect with no heater grid and I have lower compression pistons and a lot of fuel.

If worst comes to worst I will, I'm just too cheap to plug it in right now. And just the fact I want it to work.

See if this helps. Diagram is from a 2001 book, but might be similar.
