grid heater not working

i went out today to start my 96 and let i warm up before i leave and i notice that my grid heaters are not working hard starting the light comes on on the dash i dont here the solonoids working and i am getting power to the solonids and also getting key on power to them but not power out of the solonoids could they be bad or could it be somthing else

Check the wire that comes from the ecm that tells them when to come on. Its possible that they are bad. But make sure you got power to those wires. Also search there was a subject just recently about this and there are plenty more in this section

the little wires to the solonoids one wire on each one has power when key is on

probably bad solenoids could probably find a cheap used set from someone on here or get new ones from the parts store

Check the grounds on the signal wires also

mine did the same thing and i ended up just deleted it.
