Hattiesburg, Mississippi need help ASAP!!

Last night a good friend of mine left from here, Clarksville, TX on an 8 hour drive to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It's an 8 hour drive from home. This morning as he pulled into Hattiesburg, he called me and said his truck is broke down. At first he could still crank his truck and it would have a very rough idle, but only idle at 500 rpms. now, he can not het it to crank at all. If theres anyone in the area that could help out, or reccomend parts stores once we get this diagnosed, and also need help from anyone diagnosing the problem. Any help is appriciated.

Yeah, the truck is back in Texas now...went and picked it up this morning and towed it back. Thanks though
