Having vp problems?

When i start the truck up its fine, but i when i take of it blows white smoke and won't go over 40 mph. its like it has a dead pedel, until it warms up 2 140 degrees. and it will do it on long drives, it will have a dead pedel. its it my vp? or something else. Ive tried resetting my apps no diff
 
sorry but your vp is on it last leg. mine did exactly as you are describing but it alos survive for 11 months like that before i could replace it
 
:bang you have a case of the vp blues.....just think of all the go fast parts you could get for $1000:doh:
