head building advice

I am doing a P&P job on my 03-04 head and have a few questions. What are the reccomended things to have the machine shop do. Here is what i was thinking i would have done. I dont plan on spining crazy rpm, dont run tnt-r

Valve job, 3 or 5 angle.
Install new valve seats, welded to dinged in ?
New springs, not sure which ones to run.
Pushrods, dont know which ones.
retainers and keepers ???
cummins MLS gasket
Shanes intake
are stock valves adequite or is there a better alternative.
replace all freeze plugs with pipe plugs, anyone know the size of the plugs needed, pipe size qould be nice.

maybe Swole will chime in but there is talk about screw in valve seats

Thanks. Looks like Hamilton is the source for springs and push rods.

A few have installed exhaust valves in place of the intakes. While working over the valves remove the back cut from the intake valves. Might look at this thread motor build w pics - Competition Diesel.Com - Bringing The BEST Together
