Okay had a bad weekend. Started noticing more and more blow-by thursday through saturday. Put quite a bit of oil in and drove it a little then I saw the oil (lots of) in the coolant. We concluded no coolant in oil.
I then drained and flushed the radiator and filled with water so to easier look for air bubbles. Ran on the road hit 20lbs boost about 3 times and warmed up the engine a little--maybe to 130*. I then cracked the radiator cap and water blew out, like over exh. manifold and all. So I'm thinking something is pressurizing the cooling system. I don't have any leaks out from under head though. What you guys think?
Also Im kinda at a crossroads...should I keep the truck, o-ring it with new gasket, and keep wrenching on it, or fix it cheap as possible and buy something economical? or more reliable...say a cheaper CR. I have to do something cuz this is getting kinda expensive being in college and all (3 more years....:bang) Dreams are of a rowdy truck in future, but financially not there unless I hit the lottery.
Sorry for long post but just want some been there-done that- f***** up there advice. Thanks guys.
