is there any tricks to putting a 12v marine head gasket on a 24v?? other than opening some of the water coolant ports.:poke:
 
Slap it on and go other than the coolant passages. Some people don't even mess with the passages.
 
I just got one from snedge today. He said he sends them out to get punched on a CNC.
 
well atleast someone said something about the other coolant passages. i traded out on a motor that they installed one and lasted 1000 miles when it started seeping. pulling motor down to part out one of the passage holes is off the 12v gasket. donnley said you needed to tap and install pipe plugs to be safe.. the 12v gasket is made different in this location. so i guess others are just luckier than this guy.
