how much boost can studs with a new gasket hold? no o-rings
 
I did studs with stock gasket and 50-55lbs last year and it lasted all season until I bought an o-ringed head and a bigger turbo. That seems like the way to go if your gonna stay below about 65 lbs of boost, who knows maybe you could run more.
 
my truck has been holding 55psi with stock bolts and a fresh 020 overthick gasket

I wont be going to studs anytime soon
 
I retoruqed my stock bolts to 125ftpd, and i held 65 pounds, then i put the big pump on and blew it at 45
