Headlight hot wire?

Where the hell is a Headlight hot wire located? Hooking up some gauges and looking for a Headlight hot wire for the gauges lights

Use your ashtray lamp. The headlights are always hot, they just ground what is needed to get high or low beams.

No ashtray lamp in mine. I just can't seem to locate a wire that's only hot with headlights or guage cluster

Pull your dash bezel back and see if you have the wiring for that lamp in the ashtray. Otherwise the orange wire to the radio is the lighting wire. I would give you a better one but alldata sucks on dodge wiring.
 
should be the orange wire thats on the back of the headlight switch..
