time for studs....looking for advice on sticking with stockers,and having them done..or going with something like socal...anyone already gone through this???

Depends on the power level you are looking for. 800 hp. is attainable on stock heads.

budget??? 15000-20000.......doing modded cp3, water/meth
more tranny,rearend, hadnt even thought about studs till mechanic
mentioned might be wise idea...so figure i might as well do heads...
i think the socal race heads are about 4000...cam is another 1000

go with the duel cp3 i have a modded cp3 and it does not go very far.
tranny wise i would go with a stage 5 trans suncoast . rearend it depend on what u going to do with the truck. but they do have other axles u can put in that wont break. u will need rods with the twin cp3 and if u go with a bigger turbo u need rods to. The cam i use is from socal. its a good cam spools the bigger turbo quicker. pistions might be a good idea. alot of people are not into the forged pistions but they would be a good investment imho.
