I have a helix 2 that I bought back when there wasnt so much drama about cams and about who has the best. So my question is it worth putting the helix in or should I sell it and get something better. As far as power I what to make about 500-550. The other question is what do think that I can get for it? :thankyou2:

I am no expert but i believe u are still running the vp44, if u are i think that the helix 2 will do u just fine. thats my $.02

I just installed a helix 2 in mine, despite all the drama. Haven't got the truck back up and running yet though, still waiting on more parts.
I definitely think it should get you where you are looking to go.

Run the helix 2 and a 12v style lift pump. That's the main reason I chose to swap cams, but the other benefits are nice too =)

My H2 helped me spool these twins...I love it!!

Almost 800 and 11.50's @ 7300 lbs.........NUFF Said!!!

I'd keep it!

Back when I bought mine it was $980:doh:

I pulled it out a couple of weeks ago to swap in a 12v and it was still in perfect condition (2 years, 20k+/- miles)

if you sell it let me know! I think they are a good cam.
I will let you know.

this is one of the main selling point of why that I bought the helix. I amd still trying to figure out what to do, I know that if I decide to sell it I will proably get a raptor fuel pump. what to do :bang

I been running a Helix 2 for a couple of years now. Very happy with it. Put it in, go to a 12valve style pump, save yourself from the electric pump nightmares.

I've over a 100K miles on the H2 in my 02 (don't remember exactly right now), and it has worked great. That's also ~1000 1/4 mile passes and 4 NHRA Wallys. The H2 helped the spool when staging, and when street driving. It also helped lower EGT's when driving on the street, in low boost conditions (lugging).

Thank you for all the info so far, for those you are running the 12v lift pump do you guys have any problem with idioling.

I was getting too much pressure, 38-40 psi at idle so I installed a simflo regulator and now its perfect.

thank ph4tty not has far as pressure but in reguards to the idioling because the fuel is in some way pulseing from the lift pump give the engine a wired idiol.
