Just introducing myself, Im josh, I live in northern California, I've got a goofy huge powerstroke, 02, last year of the 7.3 :rockwoot:
I had an 01 cummins but it was stolen.... :banghead: :mad: :mad: :banghead: :Throwup: :doh: :mad: :mad:
it was a nice truck, I had huge plans for it....
well my love for the cummins is winning out, i want to get rid of my superduty, i've named deathstar, lol

I want to do an early 2000's f-650 crew cab, converted to a pickup and converted to 4wd. I adore the cummins engine and am holding out on getting the 650 until i find just what i want. cummins mated to the medium duty allison auto trans, i plan a 1000+hp build but that won't be for a while... although the cat option intrigues me im not sure it can reach the level i want, and i know it won't be as mpg friendly as the cummins....
anyone have any input on this idea? is that trans option able to be hopped up to support that kind of power? would it be possible to fit a different trans in there? like a drop in ats or something?
I plan on spending alot of time on this forum, =)
