Hello from Central Arkansas

I'm a total noob to the oil burner thing, so here I am to learn all I can in preparation for a build. My plans are to swap a 12v Cummins into a 79 Ford truck with a manual transmission and 4x4. Primary use for this truck will be to haul my rock buggy all over Hell's half acre in comfort and style (ergo, the 79 Ford :Cheer: ). But I also wanna be able to pull anything I can hook onto, besides the fact that power is just plain FUN!

So here I am. I've heard that this site is "the s#!t" for all things Diesel. So far, I am NOT disappointed :clap:

well, i'm almost in the boonies. could spit and come REAL close to hitting the flightline at LRAFB.....give or take 5 miles...

ya know, i'd thought about that.... mebby when i decide it's time for a tube chassis so i can properly locate the engine. Diesels are far too heavy to be hanging forward of the front axle to any degree.
