Help!!! hard starting 2000.

My friend has a 2000 powerstroke with a juice and attitude, and i just put a new glow plug relay and glow plugs in it and it still hard starting. Now is there an additive that would help or should i tell him to try and have it plugged in all the time. just need some info. thanks:bang

I used to have some problems with mine starting, when i had my juice. I had better luck getting it started when i would turn the thing down to stock before i shut it down.
