This is my dyno graph from the buda dyno day.



The operator claimed my peak HP was 356 and TQ was 594. Thats atleast 50hp lower than I should be. This was on Eric's Xtreme Race tune. The guy was a little unsure about how to dyno Fords I think. Maybe yall can help me out here. Thanks!
 
I would guess the reason your graph looks the way it does is due to rolling on the throttle and the trans down shifting then up shifting. The top end dropping off maybe due to low icp pressure or fuel under a load falling off.
 
Looks like that number is SAE and not Un Corrected, And I can see what the smoothing is, what does it say to the right 5?

Where are you refering to? The TQ reading is 594 if thats what you mean.


Im starting to think I need to just re dyno sometime. That graph is rediculous
 
Thanks, I saw a picture simular in a Diesel Power Magazine and found it on google image, looks pretty cool.

On the top right of your graph it says CF: SAE Smooth........

What does it say after that, any number, you can change the Smoothing factor to make the graphs look alot more smoother and not like a heart rate monitor.
 
That doesnt look like a good graph at all. FWIW you should be well over 600ft/lb of torque and a good 75hp higher from what I have seen? Maybe you have other issues?

Yes, theres a possibility that I have other issues. Im waiting on an HPOP gauge to get here. Also waiting on the fitting for my fuel pressure gauge.

I was running the Looney tune when I ran the bad times at the track, but since then I have been running Erics XRace. To me, it doesnt drive like there is anything wrong. It doesnt smoke as much as I thought it would, but from what others are saying, thats normal on the XRace. It runs like a bat outta hell which makes me think the graph is just trash.
