Got the pan and filter off. Can anyone run me thru the process of removing an d installing the pressure solenoid and pressure sensor! I don't want to start pullin stuff off before I know for sure how to do it. Thanks in advance

you remove the 4 bolts holding it on "11mm" unplug the two connections from the transducer and solenoid. once you have it out the solenoid pops out its held in by orings and the bracket you unbolted. the pressure sensor is held in by a small clip you will see inside the govern body thing. if the gasket is still on you cant see it. after you get the clip out it pops out like the solenoid. hope i explained all that good enough for you.

your replacing the whole assembly? you will need a 1/2 inch socket, 7/16 socket, rachet, 7/16 combo wrench, t25 torx wrench(looks like an allen wrech but has a torx end) or socket and a 1" socket or wrench. unhook shift linkage, unhook the range sensor and trans electronics sensor, remove the the shift lever on trans, remove the trans filter i remove the governor assembly before droping the valve body, there are 3- 1/4inch bolts and 2 t25 screws that hold the metal retainer on for the pressure sensors, there are 3 t25 screw that hold the solenoids to the valve body, remove the 4th bolt out of the governor pressure block, remove the 6 1/4inch bolts from the valve body, you will have to wiggle and pull on the valve body to get it to drop, there is a long rod that is on top of the valve body try and keep that in the trans it is a pain to get it back in. it the park rod that goes into the overdrive housing. there is a t25 screw that holds the plug on top of the valve body. just put everything back together in reverse order. if the park rod pops out like mine did slide the rod back in and rock the truck back and forth until it "pops" or "clips" back in. also loosen the range sensor makes installing the valve body much easier.

Nice write up. Overkill for changing just the pressure sensor and transducer only but nice write up none the less.

thanks! just did this on my truck. it is for changing the whole thing with the wiring harness not just the solenoids. its kind of a pain!
