I have searched and searched and i still cant find what the power levels do. I want to know which one is mileage. Im thinking its 1 but my friend says its 2. I also want to know in detail what all the custom tuning does. The pulses manual doesnt tell me how it affects the truck. Also i have the turbo timer on 5 mins but it will still shut off do i just pull the key out, but dont roll back the ignition?

1 or 2 can be used for mileage since neither of those power levels use the wire tap. As for which one gets better mileage run a couple of tanks on each level and see which one works best. It'll vary from truck to truck.

Timing on the custom tuning contrls the total timing advance

Pulse stretch is the length of each pulse of fuel to the injectors. It determines your total power. The higher its set the more fuel that will be delivered to the injectors. Some pumps can handle having it maxed out, others can't. Yours should have no problem up around 2000.

The TPS settings control at what percentage your fueling starts and is at full fueling. So if you have the TPS min/max at 20/80 then it will start fueling at 20% throttle position and be at full fuel at 80% throttle position.

I can't remember what the CAN min/max does.

Thanks Tyler. No work today or what??

1 is timing only
2 is timing and added fuel via the can bus.
3 is added timing, canbus fueling, and wire tap fueling.

every level above 3 is the same combo, only larger amounts of fuel via the wire tap. Higher #'s don't equal more power though.$.02

So how does that work? Altho lvl 8 feels like it pulls better then 10.

More fuel doesn't always equal more power. I dyno'd back in the day on level 7 and did 423.4 and 881.5. Then tried level level 6 and did 424 and 791. Then did level 8 and did 389.2 and 685.1.

Would it depend on your turbo maybe or what?

Turbo, injection pump, condition of the engine, intake, exhaust, fuel supply, injectors, lots of factors to vary in.

Also, higher fuel stretch numbers makes it fuel harder down low. If you are trying to get more power up high, use lower fuel stretch. Boost scaling works the opposite way, lower scale is more aggressive down low. Also, if you are trying to get big numbers on the dyno.....post delete any advice you get from Tyler.:kick:
