i have quite a bit of work into my cr and really havent had much time to get it on the dyno, last summer i was able to hit a trailer pulled dyno and at 40 psi of boost it made 647 rwhp and smoked like crazy, when i talked to the guy running the dyno he said it was 30% load due to the dyno overheating, my blow offs are set at 70 psi, would that be an accurate reading on the dyno, i have only been on one dyno that maxed my boost out but that was back in the 400 h.p. single turbo days. do i need nitrous to get the rest of my boost while on the dyno ?:nos:

Never been on a dyno before but I am pretty sure you answered your own question. If you typically have a max boost of 70 and you only got 40 out of a dyno and your pickup was smokin like a freight train then to me it sounds like you did make your full potential.

Welcome looks like you have one nice rig there I like the 6.7 with the allision

What are the specs on your turbos? That may have been a fairly accurate number.

Hit a superflow or mustang dyno, something that can put a good load on your truck.

Did you load the turbos when you dynoed?

i tried to drag the brake a little at first, as soon as they lit, i let go of the brake but my boost dropped down to 40 psi, i can hit 70psi on the street, two stage snow with the big nozzles, first stage at 20 psi and second at 60 psi, it wouldnt even build enough to squeeze some meth in i also reved it out to 4100 rpm.

Sounds like a decent sized set of twins. Load dyno will be the only way to do it.

Do you ever goto salt lake ? Gillet diesel has a really good dyno that will load the crap out of it
