high idle mod on 05 excursion with everything else 04??

obviously I don't have the rocker switches like the 05 trucks because of the 04 dash. but is the wiring for the high idle mod the same as a 04 or the 05 trucks? The motor, suspension and dash is a 2004 and the truck is a 05? what do I need to do? thanks guys!

I don't think the excursion's have the wire for the high idle as putting a PTO on an excursion isn't really common.

no wire to call for high idle on X's...you can do it though..search my posts and you'll find enough to get you going...

it is possible because I have seen it done. just not sure which wires to use!

I think you would have to add a wire to one of the plugs going to the computer. Search the 6.0 section on ford-trucks.com if you can't find it here.
