Wade I had an 05 with a manual tranny that went to high idle by itself.

Yeah mine doesnt high idle on its own. I read a write up from ford how to do it but it said it would not work on a Manual Tranny, and i tried it anyway and it didnt work. I would think there should be a way to do it because my tranny has a PTO port on it....

yeah i hear ya the dealers around here are the same way, i just don't understand why my 05 would idle up and yours won't unless they changed the computer. I know with the trucks equipped with a pto there is a seperate box that they usually mount on the floor to control the idle.

AFAIK, the manual requires a control box.

Cummins98, I got a '06 6spd and it doesn't idle up unless its goin into cold Idle

I think if you pick up some Toyota floormats you can get the rpms up that way....
