High Idle

Is there a way to put these truck on high idle to warm up in the morning? I hear my roomate's 6.0 PSD idle up to like 1100 rpm a few mins after startup in the mornings when it's cold. Just wondering if it's possible with the 24valves. Or do i have to buy some aftermarket module?

Mine does it ever since I ran the Smarty on it for a while... Its controled by the ECM, I believe the dealer can flash the high idle software for you. If not, find someone with a smarty and program it onto your truck and when you take it off it will flash your stock software with the upgraded high idle software.

Cool. I don't think anyone in my town has a smarty, but I'm not sure. I've got a buddy that works for dodge so I'll call him today at lunch and see if he can hook me up.
