Looks like casting imperfections to me, probably wouldn't be noticed if it wasn't polished.

i don't think they go all the way through, so should i pick it up, it's a silverbullet 66 for 800.00???

i thought that only the SB had a polished turbine housing?? and i'm sure he can get proof, if not the turbo is only about a mile away from ken jones wild diesel shop in utah so i'll have him make sure everything is legit. those holes just kind of worry me.

thats porosity in the casting. shouldnt be there but have a look @ the INSIDE of the cover and be sure it isnt like swiss cheeze and that the pits dont go through or are too deep/excessive as this may compromise the covers integrity. Is the turbo or manifold notched or touching? looks like it in the pic.

no the turbo or manifold are not notched at all, here are some better pictures....

yeah, its not a silver bullet. II polishes the silver's compressor housings. and it looks way better than that. and i agree with the green hose. ive never seen green couplers anywhere else than with that turbo on ebay.

i got a silver bullet in the shop that does not have a polished cover. plus that is a 3rd gen turbo on a 2nd gen truck. the green hose could have come from any were.

I'm going to have to agree with you.

Whats the center housing tag say on it? II and HTT usually engrave the turbo size on the tag.
