Wondering if i could use holleys new 150gph pump and run it inline with my lift pump. Thinking it wouldnt be a problem and should be plenty of fuel for my adrenaline and 100 horse injectors but was just looking if there were any cons to this. Just thought it would be cheaper than a fass or something else.
Thanks. By the way its an 01 ho motor if that makes a difference.

Welcome to the forum!

Yes, you can do this, I've been running a Holley Blue for 4-5 years mounted to the frame rail in front of the tank, use the search feature and you shouldn't have to much trouble finding several "how to" posts on the subject.

If I had it to do over again though?? I would save your money and buy an Air Dog or FASS. I have changed out 4 or 5 Holleys so far, and they tend to die without warning.

got the same pump going to my vp44. Got 15 psi at idile never drops below 13 or 12 psi works great no problems with it

I don't run one inline with another pump. If one quits, you have to check both out to find the dead one then you also have to wire for 2 pumps. I have one on the frame rail and one under the passenger seat as a spare.

Eliminate everything and install an airdog or a FASS. Trust me changing VP 44s and installing pumps is what keeps me in business, LOL

I got a holley black running with my stocker and see over 25psi at idle and it never drops below 21psi......I need to cut off some on the spring in the holley to drop the pressure some so it is easier to start in the mornings

just put the regulator on and turn the pressure down dont cut the spring and you really dont need the factory piece of crap pump on there, i only got the holley pushing fuel to mine and never had a hard time starting one or two rounds and shes fired up

whats wrong with them besides there noise even the holley blue flow like 115 gph at 14 psi i believe thats more than fass base one. if i'm wrong than please correct me. I dont really see the diffence between one and the other if your only using it for the pump

i would think they would all go out, got a fuel pressure gauge on mine just in case through, if it does go out i'll then think of fass or airdog just havent had any problems with mine yet, it could go out tommorrow maybe not
