any info helpfull

:thankyou2:

Also if im goin to replace it should i just by a stock solid or somthing better?

I still have a 2 piece driveshaft but have had to fix it a few times. I would pull with it for now and replace it when or if you break it.

Yeah i guess I can do that maybe ill buy one as back up so I wont have to trailer home!

When you change from a 2 piece to a one you will need to change your loops and shields around some too.

You eliminate the slip yoke between the two shafts by going to a one piece. That slip yoke/carrier bearing will be prone to breakage and is costly.

I have been running a 2 piece, it is a 4" with 1480 ujoints, and an upgraded carrier. I had a 1 piece, but had this idea that I might drag race a little also, of course I have never done any drag racing yet.

Nothing wrong with using a two piece if you beef it up a bit and the angle isn't to steep from a lift or something. My original truck was a two piece we upgraded to the 1480's and used HD International carrier bearing. I never broke a rear drive line. check your straps alot, through bolt if you have to, and don't use the greasable universal joints as there weaker.
