At what level of Hp is a factory P7100 limited to when you get done with the mods you can buy off a shelf such as delivery valves, governor springs fuel plate etc.
Are the hot rod pumps the big companys sell just the right combination of these parts for a certain level of power and driving style or do they throw in some special tricks?

There are lots of mods that can be done to a pump, lighter gov assembly, bigger plungers and barrels, tuning and balancing, cut cams, how deep are your pockets?

I heard c. 600-700 rwhp with basic mods on a HOT stock pump. Any more and it's time to throw some shop insight at it.
