Get paid by money order or bank check and don't ship until everything has cleared
 
Postal Money order or a certified bank check.
Like Pete said...don't ship till the cash is in your hands.

Depends on how much you trust this person. If I trust them, a personal check is all good. If I dont. They have to send a postal money order.
 
I use paypal for everything. It charges a 2.? fee but is alot quicker. Plus I think it offers more security than just sending someone a check.
 
I like a quick transfer like paypal if it is is possible. I had a debacle when I ordered my clutch from Farmboy's Diesel....the SOB never got there, dang USPS lost it........I waited and waited with a truck that was down, so I had to darn near empty my account and do a debit card payment for it, while I waited on the stupid bank to cancel the cashier's check that was sent.
 
Paypal, speaking of, Kevin, you got my payment right?
