So I'm going to a 62-71-14, and I'm curious what kind of gains others have seen with this type charger on stock injectors.. I know egt's have got to come down, but I'm more curious about power output. Is it reasonable to expect a 50-75 hp jump ? Since the motor is corked up with the stock turbo now, I can imagine the difference will be tremendous. any thoughts?

the turbo will be a hair laggier than the stock but due to it being able flow more air at cooler temps the power will come on quicker. if it is the turbo limiting your hp then yes i would say you could see a good jump in power if it is something else limiting your hp then your not going to see much gain.

You should have enough fuel to run that turbo pretty well. I wouldn't expect a huge power boost, but it will help. Egts should be ice cold anyway.

My reason for thinking that the motor is corked up is the amount of drive pressure that has to be building behind this stock charger. It cleans the smoke up some, but still blacks the road a good bit even under full boost. My egts can get to 1500 as it is now, and I don't like doing that to my truck.. But when you gotta play, you just got to!

yeah if your still blowing black smoke at full boost you will pick up some HP

Cuda sorry I forgot to call you. I think that turbo should work well, add some small stixs and you should be good. For a while :evil.

Id say 30-40hp is a reasonable expectation. Depends on how overfueled you are. I wouldnt expect a HUGE gain though.

ah geeze man, if I get some stix, I'll have to put a bigger shot in.. darn it!

I have seen posts from other members that 90's can get a little warm with this 62-71, any others had this same issue? Suppose that this is only on a extremely long run?
