What timing would you guys safely run on the setup in my sig? .20 big bowl pistons and stock cam.

I just turned it up to 28*. Was thinking it might be a lil to much. All this truck sees is a sled

Whats the most timing you have ran with stock head gasket and bolts? And it live on the street?

Mike are you saying you have a stock headgasket and bolts?

Yeah, stock HG, and allen bolts that are a little stronger than stock, but not like ARP's or anything.

Sorry to derail but do you have a part number or link for those allen headbolts? I remember someone posting it up a while back but I cant find it, I think they were from grainger but like i said cant find em. Thanks Jeremy

Oh f that noise! I retorqued mine at 276k and don't plan on touching it unless studs go in lol. I'll just see what happens. Timing has been low on this truck. I think I might bump it up again though.

I torqued them to 135ft/lbs.

Fastenal has them as well. Have them on a couple trucks and no problems at all torqued to 135 ft-lbs.

My local fastenal wouldn't sell me the bolts unless I bought A LOT.

Got mine from here > Mighty Diesel Performance

Torqued them to 90 ft-lbs then an additional 90 Degrees. After checking all the bolts, they ended up being ~135ft-lbs.
