Hey guys, this may sound like a stupid question, but my ATS Stage VI 48RE seems to be not acting just right. This weekend I tried to install a lockup converter, which sent my truck to limp mode. I wasn't aware of what limp mode felt like, and drive about 5 miles with Smarty TNT on SW7, TM4, occasionally giving it some heck to try and get some response out of it. Removed everything to do with the lockup controller (Co-Pilot), and seemed to not pull as hard in 2nd and 3rd gear now. My max tranny temp was 140 - 145, so I'm not sure if I did any damage in that five miles, but just doesn't seem as strong for some reason.

I don't know if this is typical, but does anyone else notice when you floor it from second gear, the RPMs go to 3000 and stay there without much variation through 2-3 gear shift, and all the way through 3rd until it hits fourth? I'm trying to get a definate diagnosis if my tranny is now slipping. I drained a little fluid and didnt really notice it being brown or smelling burned. The truck definately doesn't put you back in your seat in 2nd and 3rd, but still feels strong in 1st and 4th.
