How wide can you go? 16X9?

I want to fit the widest tire possible/safely on a 16X9" wheel? I've heard only 1" wider or narrower is a rule of thumb?

13.50 can go on and 8" probly be better suited on a 9" tho... how tall of a tire?33? 35? short the tire the wider the rims need to be to keep the tread flat

Im runnin 13.5 on my stock rims. I believe they're 8 or 8.5 wide. Seem to be wearin fine but know it's not ideal.

I would say anywhere from 31-33" tall . Its a tubbed 2WD
