I Have A 01 5speed With A Standard Output Pump I Just Got A S465 With A .90 Housing 8x11 Injectors And A Drag Comp. Does Any One Have This Setup Or Have Any Opinions On How Its Going To Work? How Will It Be On The Street? Tahnks For Any Feed Back.

I think with those injectors you will have more fuel than that s465 can burn. Might not be too bad on the street with the Drag Comp off though, but when you turn it on it will smoke like a train!

IMO you'll need twins for that amount of fuel on the street.

It is gonna be a lag pig.

Why do you say that? I think it will spool quite fast... I have the same turbo, but smaller injectors and mine spools as fast as my HX40 used to. Granted he has a VP and I have a p-pump... but I think it will spool fine... he'll just never clean up all the fuel. I'd bet it will do alright pulling... not sure what other mods you have though. Pulling is more than just a turbo, injectors and a "chip"

which one is it?

I think the VP might actually spool it better since it has the benefit of dynamic timing and I'm fixed at 22* at all rpm ranges. Though, my fuel output might make the difference...

well since i will never clean up the fueling maby there is some room to spray alittle?

A .90 A/R housing will suck balls on the street on a VP truck. That is why I say that.

i still gotta beat all the ricers in town lol. but yeah im trying to slowly build a pulling truck. stupid california is making me smog my truck and i know its not gonna pass and i know i cant sell it for what i owe. now i got to look for new things to do with it.

well you all know my chip turbo pump and injectors what are some other things i should look into.

As far as I know, thats the smallest EH for the s465... When I bought mine I was also offered a 1.10 and 1.32 I believe. For the street, wouldn't the smallest be best for spool up? I know it can be restrictive in the upper rpms, but with a VP he's not going to spin THAT many rpms, lol. Just curious why you think it will be laggy on his truck when its not on mine?

Do you know something I don't?:what:

He also has a 5 speed manual... at least he doesn't have an auto. That will help too.

On the street, it will suck donkey balls. Where does your charger spool?

Its spooling pretty well by 2000 rpms... probably not fully lit till 2500-2600, but I don't have a boost guage yet, this is all by SOP. I think my truck is pretty fun to drive on the street... might be alittle better if I lowered the timing a few degrees to get some bottom end torque back, but still fun non the less.

I drive it a few times a week now in the city... would be more fun on the highway, but with a stick I think its just fine.
