HRVP fuel pressure and lope?

Wondered if anyone with a HRVP has noticed a difference in lope when running on lower fuel pressure?

I'm asking because my truck hasn't loped anymore since I put back the stock fuel filter canister between the fass and VP. I'm getting my FP reading off the adrenaline (which probably isn't all that accurate) but it was reading 15# with out the fuel canister and now 0-4# with the canister ( I know, get a mechanical gauge). Truck never cuts off, stalls or anything like that, just wondered if anyone has had any similar experience..? BTW the fuel filter in the canister is new.

You can actually push fuel past the fuel regulator on the CP3 if the pressure is high enough. The filter is reducing the pressure to it. It's not blowing past any more and the correct fuel pressure is maintained. When it's to high it causes the lope which is putting the rail pressure to high to maintain a good idle.

Thanks and sorry I don't have my sig filled out but my question is about a VP truck, wish I did but I don't have a CP3

Where ya getn the FP at for the adr. Mite have lost ground to the sender???

Im thinkn ya get a mech. gauge and the FP will be back!

OPPS, sorry. I was trying to help.

not a problem, I appreciate your quick respoonse though.

I'm using the old sender that came with the adrenaline and its mounted somewhat similar to this picture, except the sensor it right on the fitting instead of the hose and clamp in this pic.

Guess no one's had this happen...... I'll bypass the fuel canister and go back to having it straight to the VP and see if a difference.

Hooked up the mechanical gauge today and had 14# at idle and brought it down to 11# at WOT in OD (with the fuel canister). I'll remove the canister this weekend and run the fuel line from the fass straight to the VP.
