Finally upgraded my setup to a 66mm charger and have my HTT 62/71/13 for sale. Turbo is in really good shape. It has been on my truck the past couple years and works flawlessly. I just took it off 2 days ago. I originally planned to use this turbo in a twin setup but decided to save my money and go big single instead. This turbo spools almost as fast as a stock turbo and took my truck to a 13.05 ET in the 1/4 mile (6 speed) in Amarillo.

Turbo has between 35-40K miles on it. Turbo has never been used to tow or sled pull. My truck is used only as a daily driver and occasional drag racing. It's all packaged up ready to ship to its new home.

Paid $1800 for it brand new a couple years ago. Not sure what the market on used turbos is but I'll start it at

$1100 shipped or make me an offer and well work something out.

Not interested in trading at this time sorry just need to sell it. I always get the flanges mixed up but it is whatever the stock one is. T3 I believe
 
If an HX40 is the stock turbo on an 05 the spool is almost identical but loads more power and lower egts. I ran this 62 with stock fuel for over a year and a half before injectors and CP3 and it spooled just like the stock turbo. I never had a chance to dyno the setup but the experts on the forum put it between 600-650HP with everything in my signature. If I had to describe spool with this turbo on my truck in one word it would be instantaneous

The turbo has a spring actuated waste gate on it and no it is not welded shut. I had to put that wastegate on it because I was going to run it in a twin setup but decided not too. I have the original wastegate for the turbo too if somebody would prefer it
 
Hey well if i can get it with the original wastegate ill give ya 900 plus shipping and also how much play is in the turbo?
