Well I got tired of the blubbering 66. So half of my twins is in progress with my ss turbo now running as my single till I get the other half and piping. I like the responsiveness of this turbo in comparison way easier to drive. Also while taking off the bullet I got to see some of PDI's sh!tty work will never have them near my truck again. That being said I am happy so far. I went from 52 peak boost to around 45ish now. Egts are near the same except for wot which I didnt look that closely at. Anybody that has has a s475 for sale let me know please.

Nice man, I just went from a 64/71/14 to a 62/71/13. Drives like stock! Planning on putting an s400 under it as well. Good luck with your build!

was happy to fix all of PDI's f-ups, didnt think it would that bad cleaning other peoples messes! happy you like it now for phase two of the build up!

wow - just like that?

i dont see a whole lot of difference between the stainless and cast housings

so you are tellin me that .078" smaller wheel on compressor side makes that much difference?

dont know what your vehicle is but dont you think you could have tuned it a little or something with the other turbo?

it just doesnt make sense that the two would be night and day difference for you

they are so simular ya know?

Smaller Exhst. housing and SS along with a Smaller Compressor wheel= faster spool!!!

I don't know about the "Drives like Stock" comment, but spooling faster is defenatley right!!!

Smaller exhaust wheel? Both are 71's. Smaller exhaust housing and smaller compressor wheel, yes.

the stainless housing is closer to a 14 than a 13

those two turbos are not all that different

thats all i was gettin at

OK

no biggie.....

But if it's not a 13, then why in the Fuuuk do they call it 13????? LOL

Guess they just wanted to be different and make people go....Hmmmmmmm!!!

if nothin else it makes it easy to distinguish if the housing is iron or not

sales pitch most likely

it is a sales pitch the 13cm ss is ~13.4cm and the 14cm is ~13.6cm i want a stainless housing so it doesnt rust LOL
