Hx 35/40 ??

Will a 14cm gated 35 exaust housing bolt up to a 40 center section that currently has a 65mm Wheel?
 
I'm Actually not quite sure on the tubine wheel. I just wanted to see if it'll bolt up to help spool up
 
It will bolt up but the wheel will not fit in the housing. I checked when I read your question this morning. It's possible that you could machine the housing to accept the bigger wheel.
 
I havn't pulled the 40 apart yet but What are the turbine wheel size options? I'll check the numbers on it to see what is.

The compressor wheel? If so, it's not worth messing with. The 8 blade wheels are only 56 or 58mm, where a stock hx35 wheel is 56mm. You want the 6 blade 60mm wheel part number is holset 3599550.

no problem, I'm in the process of building a 35/40 hybrid that's why i know this stuff. PM me if you need help with anything else.
