Could this be made to work with a S400 easily, providing it doesn't sell?

The hot-pipe? No; the only reusable part would be the T6 flange, and it would be pretty much butchered. The hx35 flange is tiny, and the tubing is somewhere around 3" ID - much too small for an S400 outlet.

If you are talking about an S300, it would be modifiable.

The air filter? Maybe, but I would personally go with a larger flange ID.
