hx35 or h1e as secondary turbo?

I've got a buddy who is working on a set of compound twins for his 12 valve. Primary turbo will be the common s475. He has two turbos to choose from for the secondary turbo, one being the stock hx35 and the other one being an h1e. Specs on the h1e are 58mm comp wheel, 64mm turbine, and 16cm housing.

Any thoughts on which one would make a better secondary turbo? I'd really like to see him use an s300g or s362, but this is out of the budget right now. The ultimate goal is ~600-650hp on fuel and maybe a little spray now and then.

The 16cm housing he has for it is internally gated so it would likely be used in this app. An external gate would be considered if needed.

We're mainly curious to know what people would do turbine wise. Bigger h1e turbine or smaller hx35 turbine?
 
Its primary use is just as a play toy, but I'm sure it will be occasionally used to tow stuff.

Another question: What turbine wheel is usually in the hx40s that people use? I'm curious about how this h1e compares to it.
