This has probably been asked many times but i figured i would ask my self anyways lol.

I'm buying a truck tomorrow that I test drove last weekend. It has a HX40 with a 18cm ex. housing and is way too laggy for my likings. Just wondering if the 12cm housing for an HX35 will accept the exhaust wheel on the hx40. If not would it be safe to just use the HX40 comp wheel and comp housing on the hx35 shaft and center section?

The 65mm HX40 wheel won't fit the 60mm 12cm HX35 exhaust housing.

The HX40 compressor wheel fits the HX35 shaft and the HX40 compressor housing will fit the HX35 bearing housing.
You're still gonna need a 12 or 14cm exhaust housing to get decent spool.

I got my stuff balanced by the local turbo builder to pull a trick similiar to that off when I ran my hybrid.

Step #1 Update sig to knew truck! :poke: LOL

Step #2 If you can actually make the trip down here, since I usually drive to you :poke: , bring the turbo off the truck we'll throw that comp wheel & housing on this 35 I'm rebuilding and little funds exchange and you'll be good to go! ;) LOL
