HX55 possibly for sale

I just bought a HX55 for my 97. Its still at the machine shop. Had to work on the exhaust to fit a HX 40 style downpipe. Its brand new.

I might be going a different direction. I might be selling the truck later on so Im going to throw the idea out there.
 
I have a 55 built by JR Adkins on my truck. Little laggy on the street. Nothing thats not drivable. But when it lights up, it pulls hard. Lights around 2200rpm with a set of big injectors, LC delivery valves, and 25* timing
 
not to sure yet. They never told me the bill. I had them do some machine work on the housing to fit a HX 40 pipe
 
Its a 2.55 charger. will work in the 2.6 class. Had the exh. housing milled down to fit a 40 style downpipe.
 
please Pm price when u recieve bill... think its probaby going to be a little steep on what i want to spend though

I still have it if anyone might be intersted. I was hoping to get $850 but I'm open to offers! Its a brand new reman
 
what all is done to the turbo? Or is it just a "stock" 55 that was modified to fit a 40 downpipe? And internal work?
 
As far as I can tell its a stock 55 had the exhaust housing milled to fit a 40 downpipe. I'm working on the inlet right now so the intake will fit properly.
 
What can you do to make this thing light a bit sooner? More fuel?

I have a chance to get one of these from a guy, was thinking about running it on a 12v with lots of pump work and 435's, would it be streetable?
 
The hyrbrid HX55's are somewhat streetable on the 12V with the smaller exhaust housings. Streetable and used for towing are different. I would run my 97 12V with an s400 on the street. Wouldn't dream of towing with it, but it is streetable.
 
My truck is going to be a street puller. Im selling my 02 so when its gone I'll have to drive the 97! I have ran it yet but I have a lot of fuel also. I'll have wait and see how hot it gets. I would rather sell it and buy a 2.8 S4. But if it doesnt sell I just run the 2.6 class
